Salary/Position Classification: - $170,000+ annual, Exempt - This position will work onsite the Grand Forks, ND campus. Purpose of Position: The department is seeking a Chair & Program Director of Physician Assistant Studies that will provide leadership and strategic direction for the department. This role involves overseeing the department to ensure the highest standards of excellence are achieved in education, research, and service. The Chair will work collaboratively to foster a collegial, supportive and innovative environment in the department. This position is a 1.0 FTE, twelve (12) month, special appointment with the University of North Dakota (UND) School of Medicine and Health Sciences (SMHS), Department of Physician Assistant Studies. The UND Physician Assistant Program was established in 1970 at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine, in response to health manpower shortages and the lack of access to primary health care in rural communities.
