Located at Upper Valley Medical Center (Troy, OH) Part-Time Evening Shift (1:30 PM - 10:00 PM) With Weekend and Holiday Rotation Part-Time Night Shift (10:00 PM - 6:30 AM) With Weekend and Holiday Rotation Position Summary: The Phlebotomists/Processor collects, transports, and processes laboratory specimens. Responsibilities: Qualifications: - Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures according to departmental procedures. - Accurately label and prepare specimens for testing or transport. - Complete requisitions and manage specimen receipt using computer systems. - Deliver specimens to testing areas. - Maintain equipment and assist with problem-solving related to patient draws and orders. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, corporate standards, and departmental policies. - Conduct inventory checks, train new employees, and maintain a safe work environment. - High School Graduate or equivalent. - Some experience or training in phlebotomy or laboratory science is preferred.
