Job description

This position provides support for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Power Services Group under the National Air-Space Implementation Support Contract (NISC) with respect to power engineering. The candidate will provide senior-level engineering support across complex technical programs with a focus on power systems and infrastructure. The successful candidate will deliver subject matter expertise, guide projects through all lifecycle phases, and contribute to strategic planning and implementation efforts. The successful candidate will: Provide engineering consultation to ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, codes, and best practices across all phases of the system lifecycle, including requirements development, site assessments, design, design review, and implementation. Participate in the project planning, execution, and management, including coordination of logistics, schedules, and technical strategies. Develop solutions to complex power engineering problems, including analytical, simulation, and system-level approaches.
