Senior Director, Government Relations

This Opportunity WSP is seeking an experienced Senior Director of Government Relations to join our Midwest Region team. The ideal candidate will be based in one of our major Midwest offices, which includes locations in Ohio, Missouri, Michigan, Minnesota, Indiana and Illinois. This leadership role is critical for guiding our government relations strategy and strengthening partnerships with key external stakeholders across the region. Your Impact: Develop and recommend corporate strategies on public policy matters and effectively communicate WSP’s positions to state and local elected officials. - Lead and oversee engagement with senior-level decision makers in both legislative and executive branches at the state and local levels. - Collaborate closely with Regional Business Managers, Area Managers, senior leadership, and market leaders to coordinate stakeholder and client visits that advance our business objectives. - Analyze public policy developments to assess their impact on WSP, our clients, and the broader industry; engage with industry peers and leaders to develop proactive solutions to emerging challenges. - Advise senior management on political, legislative, and policy trend...
