Senior Data Engineer

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer for a global automotive company in Gothenburg. Start is in June 2026, 12-month limited contract to begin with, possibility of extension after that. In this role, the Data Engineer will be part of a team—primarily consisting of data engineers—focused on developing and maintaining the data product that enables smooth CI and software product development processes. Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and optimize the ConX engineering data product. Build scalable and reliable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and storage of engineering and CI/CD data. Implement canonical data models and metric definitions in collaboration with senior engineers and architects. Contribute to the design and implementation of event-driven and batch data workflows. Ensure data quality, accuracy, and observability in data processing pipelines. Apply data governance policies, access controls, and security best practices. Build self-service datasets and analytical layers that empower engineering teams and stakeholders.
