Overview The Dartmouth Cancer Center (DCC), Geisel School of Medicine and Dartmouth Health are seeking to jointly recruit junior faculty dedicated to pursuing careers in cancer research. Physician-scientists and clinician-investigators/clinical trialists from all clinical specialties who are pursuing basic, translational, clinical or population-based cancer research are encouraged to apply. Successful applicants will be appointed as Assistant or Associate Professors in the appropriate department at Dartmouth and become full DCC members. Protected time for research and generous start-up packages will be provided. Members of DCC’s Cancer Population Sciences (CPS) research program work to establish a scientific basis for health care delivery innovations, policy development, and methodological advances that will improve health outcomes across the cancer continuum, from prevention through survivorship. Current CPS investigators conduct research aligned with at least one of three primary program themes: 1) Life Course Cancer Epidemiology; 2) Health Care Delivery Science; and 3) Methodological Advances in Population Sciences.
