Job description

Position Summary Perform a variety of technical installation for stage lighting and audio/video equipment and infrastructure resources for theatre productions, utilize portable entertainment lighting fixtures, control consoles, audio amplifiers, loudspeakers, video projectors, wood, steel, plastics and other materials. Perform on-deck/backstage crew and maintenance responsibilities for annual spring dance concert. Assist with the modification and implementation of construction for departmental facilities such as theaters, workshops, studios, and office support Ensure safety of facilities and and equipment and instruct students on safe use of equipment and tools. Perform skilled maintenance, maintain inventory. Run hand, focus and notes for individual productions as required. Qualifications: Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent Preferred Education: Theatre/design training/certification, including ETCP Certified Entertainment Electric, ETC certificate in Eos console programming.
