Dedicated to providing care that promotes the physical, spiritual, emotional well-being of the people we serve. Purpose of Position: To provide direct patient care assisting patients with activities of daily living, providing for personal care, comfort and assistance when necessary. Essential Functions: established procedure. 2. Maintain order and neatness in patient rooms, assist patients as needed, providing fresh water, nourishment, serving meals, assisting with baths, etc. 3. Perform other miscellaneous patient care services, such as giving baths, back rubs, transporting patient when necessary, etc. 4. Perform various procedures such as collection of specimen, recording of intake and output, giving and removing bed pans, enemas, etc. 5. Perform duties related indirectly to patient care: such as messenger service; cleaning of utensils and equipment; keeping utility rooms, closets, cupboards, and drawers orderly and restocked. 6.
