Job description

The Supervisor Physician Practice is responsible for coordinating the patient flow within the clinic. Performs various functions, including clerical, reception, scheduling, cashier, clinical support, and medical records while conveying a positive image of the clinic and providing excellent customer service. Evaluation and Analysis: Adheres to and has a basic understanding of the financial budget. Able to operate within the guidelines of the fiscal budget. Responsible for serving as the back-up to Patient Services Rep I and Patient Services Rep II: Researches all information for completing the billing process, including charge information from the physician. - Keys charges and processes batches daily. Prepares bank/deposit summary after balancing payment to receipts. - Possesses and applies a thorough knowledge of the practice management billing systems and the ability to apply the knowledge to all aspects of the patient account, including insurance, billing and collections.
