Department: SON Grants and Research Office (OGR) Operations Executive Management Position Title: Associate Dean of Research - SON Job Family Group: Academic Job Description Summary: The ADR provides strategic leadership for the SON by articulating a clear and compelling vision for nursing research in alignment with the SON mission and vision, KUMC research priorities and with current and future funding opportunities. The ADR maintains their own research program, works with faculty to advance their research portfolios to align with the SON strategic framework and the KUMC research initiatives, and leads the School’s Office of Grants and Research. As a research leader on the KUMC campus, the ADR collaborates closely with other schools, departments, and external stakeholders, represents and advocates for nursing science related to campus and university wide research initiatives, and serves on designated research committees.
