The Assistant Vice President, Tax position is responsible for overseeing the Company’s Federal, State and local Tax function, including strategy, tax accounting, compliance, planning, audit management and tax-risk governance. The AVP is responsible for leading, recruiting, supervising, developing and mentoring the Tax team. The AVP will be an essential business partner and leader across the CarMax organization, provide tax expertise to the organization and provide advisory services to senior management of the Company.
