This is a part-time position working 4 days a week including weekends (Fri-Mon). Shift times can vary due to business needs. Start pay will be based off of experience ranging from $13-$14 per hour. Weekly earned wage access is an option for this position. Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Food Service Worker role is an e ntry level hospital food service position. You prepare and serve meals, snacks and beverages for therapeutic diets and cafeteria service. You will report to the supervisor/manager on duty. Primary Tasks: Prepare simple foods using standardized recipes, posted menus and therapeutic diet restrictions. Apply information from the Oklahoma Diet Manual regarding food allowances on physician ordered diets. Monitor and adjust the quantity of food prepared; minimize food waste and ensure portioning. Receive, date, rotate and store food according to approved foodservice standards and notify a supervisor of outdated food. Monitor and record food and equipment temperatures and report equipment temperatures issues to supervisor. Provide accurate, friendly and timely service to customers, patients and coworkers.
