Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) (F-15)

Job description

The applicant shall ensure implementation of DoD, USAF and MAJCOM policies and develop local processes and procedures for the effective execution of the F-15 Division security program. Essential Job Functions: The applicant shall perform work in support of the technical implementation, maintenance and oversight of the following elements of the F-15 Division's AIS security program (certification, risk analysis, and operational support). The applicant’s work frequently involves very difficult problems requiring significant interpretation and modification of standards, which may not be directly applicable. The applicant shall review, analyze, and develop full information for AIS system descriptions involving the establishment of new automated systems. The applicant shall ascertain the appropriateness of description detail, identify potential or actual system vulnerabilities and recommend corrective action for higher authority approval/disapproval.
