COME AND BE EXCEPTIONAL! JOIN THE BMC EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT NURSING TEAM!: Looking for a chance for growth and acquisition of new nursing knowledge and skills? Our Adult Emergency Department Nurse Transition Program provides experienced registered nurses the opportunity to transition to a position in the Adult Emergency Department. The program will provide experienced nurses the opportunity to solidify the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to provide care in our Emergency Department. Throughout the Experienced Nurse Transition Program, we will emphasize the application of nursing knowledge and skills required for success as a transitioned Emergency Room nurse. The program offers focused, multidisciplinary classroom training, as well as a customized precepted clinical experience. Both the didactic and clinical components will emphasize the skills and knowledge base you will need to progress through the competency based orientation. During the transition program, you will be paid your hourly rate. At the conclusion of the program, you will be placed in your final position per your offer letter.
