Maintenance Planner

Job description

Job Overview: Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this position is responsible for managing the planning and scheduling of all maintenance work. This includes developing, scheduling, optimizing, analyzing, and closing work orders of all types. This position is responsible for generating reports relating to maintenance activities such as but not limited to labor, material parts cost, total equipment costs, schedule compliance, proactive work etc. This position is located at our Lunenburg, NS production facility. This position is required to be on site, 5 days per week. Essential Duties and responsibilities: - Manage the work flow process to ensure all requested work is inputted correctly into the CMMS. Ensure all information needed for the work to be planned effectively is correct. Input the work order to the current CMMS with the appropriate skill assignment, cost center and clear instructions or intent of work order. - Track maintenance activities and communicate effectively to all stakeholders on the status of the requested work. - Work closely with maintenance technicians to ensure work is completed on time and in full. - Collaborate with Spare Parts Coordinator (s) to develop...
