About The Role Assist in repairs and modifications to trucks and trailers. Responsibilities: - Adheres to all safety rules and regulations. - Performs proficiently in all areas of wire feed welding, air arcing, cutting with a torch, cutting with a handheld plasma. - Read and interpret trailer blueprints, schematics for air, electric and hydraulics with little or no supervision. - Has acquired a working knowledge of all TK trailer operations and functions. - Adheres to and understands TK quality control standards. - Assists with the instruction and training of Service Technician I. - Operates truck and is familiar with standard truck operation. - Performs other duties on assigned trailer or truck with direction . Candidate Requirements: Achievement of a Welder I, Welder II or Service Technician I or completion of required skills. Ability to work and interact effectively with other departments. Possess a working knowledge of electrical, air and hydraulic systems and schematics. Willing and able to work a flexible schedule as needed to satisfy customer demand.
