Your Opportunity Our Buildings Government Services team is looking for a Mechanical Engineer. You will work under general supervision and direction on tasks and smaller projects, and as a team member of larger projects under the guidance of a Senior Engineer/Designer. You will assist in evaluating, selecting, specifying, and engineering certain Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) building systems for a project verifying compliance with applicable codes and internal engineering standards / practices. You will perform a variety of tasks which may include Revit modeling, preparing design drawings, performing system calculations, ductwork design, piping design, specifying equipment, field survey work, and construction administration. Your Key Responsibilities: - Work with a team of design colleagues to conceptualize and develop full documentation for new construction and renovation projects. - Evaluate, select, specify, and engineer mechanical HVAC systems for a project. - Engage in the development of a design through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual formats. - Utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies in development of three-dimensio...
