Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories JOB DESCRIPTION: POSITION: INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER II: LOCATION: Chatsworth, CA: SHIFT: Monday - Thursday (6:15 AM – 4:45 PM) Qualifications: Key Responsibilities: Industrial Engineering (≈50%): - Perform value stream mapping and workflow optimization . - Develop and maintain labor standards and capacity models . - Identify and eliminate production bottlenecks . - Lead continuous improvement initiatives and Kaizen events . Analyze production KPIs such as: - Throughput - OEE - WIP levels - Cycle time - Design and implement improved factory layouts and material flow systems . - Support production line balancing across machining, composites, finishing, and testing. Manufacturing Engineering (≈50%): - Develop and improve manufacturing processes and tooling . - Provide technical support for machining, fiberglass layup, foam operations, finishing, painting, and electrical testing . - Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation and work instructions . - Support new product introduction (NPI) and transition to production. - Investigate root causes of production issues and implement corrective a...
