Title: Patient Care Coordinator Location: Lower East Side: Org Unit: 156 William Street Administration Work Days: Weekly Hours: 35.00 Exemption Status: Non-Exempt: Salary Range: $22.42 - $26.10: *As required under NYC Human Rights Law Int 1208-2018 - Salary range for this role when Hired for NYC Offices Position Summary: Under direct supervision, provides clinical support to physicians including taking patient vitals, performing phlebotomy and facilitating patient flow through the office visit. This role also provides coverage for the front desk check-in and check-out functions. Job Responsibilities: - Initiates and prepares written correspondence as needed and based on functional needs. - Answers phones, responds to inquiries and triages calls to appropriate personnel. - Responsible for taking patient vitals and blood pressure. - Responsible for phlebotomy duties. - Coordinates the collection of samples/specimens and submission to labs. - Ensures cleanliness of exam rooms and sterilization of medical instruments. - Ensures the proper set up of instruments and equipment prior to patient visit. - Maintains medical-supply inventories and escalates supply requests. - Checks dated mate...
