Join Con Edisons Protective Relay Strategy Implementation (PRSI) team and support the advancement of Protection and Control (P&C) systems critical to the clean energy transition. The Section Manager of P&C Standards provides leadership and technical oversight for the development and maintenance of relay protection and control standards, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. This position does not provide employment pursuant to the terms of a STEM OPT Training Plan. Core Responsibilities: - Lead and manage the execution of Protection and Control (P&C) standards initiatives aligned with the vision and strategic objectives of the PRSI department. - Plan, direct, and oversee the development of comprehensive relay protection standards for transmission, subtransmission, and area stations, including relay philosophies, settings templates, calculation tools, drawings, testing templates, part numbers, and P&C scope documents. - Incorporate lessons learned from internal events and industry experience into standard designs to improve system performance, safety, and operational excellence. - Evaluate industry best practices, emerging technologies, and new hardware/so...
