Job Summary Under general supervision of the Facilities Project Supervisor, the Carpenter performs a full range of journey-level carpentry work in support of campus facilities across a large, multi-site university environment. The role is responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structural and finish carpentry elements while ensuring compliance with safety codes and regulations. The position contributes directly to the functionality, safety, and appearance of over 150 acres and 80+ buildings. This role also supports operational efficiency through cost estimation, preventative maintenance, and collaboration with other skilled trades. Key Responsibilities: - Perform journey-level carpentry work including construction, maintenance, repair, and remodeling of campus facilities and structures - Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to execute carpentry projects accurately - Install and repair drywall, ceilings, flooring, roofing, doors, windows, and structural frameworks - Fabricate and install cabinetry, counters, partitions, shelving, and related fixtures - Inspect completed work and contractor work for compliance with codes, specifications, and safety regu...
