Who We Are: The Marshal’s Office is part of the Office of the State Court Administrator (OSCA) at the Oregon Judicial Department (OJD). The Marshal’s Office ensures the physical security and safety of judges, OJD personnel, and the public in and around court facilities, and maintains the preparedness and continuity of OJD. We also develop and maintain the administration of the Chief Justice’s statewide security standards for courthouse facilities. Our office consists of the Chief Marshal, Sergeant, Deputy Marshals, and two analysts, and we supervise retired Oregon State Police Troopers who contract with us to provide security for the Supreme Court Building, Justice Building, and related areas and offices.
