Responsibilities: Provide professional nursing care to supported persons, following established policies and procedures of the facility. Assist Health Care Services Supervisor in care and management of the facility. Carry out instructions of Health Care Services Supervisor. Maintain approved driving privileges with Babcock Center. Duties: Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician. Give treatments and perform other professional services as ordered or required. Escort supported persons to medical, dental and other appointments. Act as charge nurse in the absence of the Health Care Services Supervisor. Render first aid services as needed. Administer immunizations as ordered by the physician. Complete medication section of the Leave Authorization Form. Complete entire form as appropriate in the absence of residential staff.
