Corporate Compliance Coordinator

Job description

Essential Job Functions: - Executes the Driver recruiting process and the process for qualification of Drivers and equipment. - Works with service providers and vendors to ensure compliance with the Company’s core values and best practices. - Works with the Dispatch office and terminal management to ensure adherence with the DOT regulations and the Company’s policies. - Facilitates the S&C functions, Drivers and S&C Administrative Personnel. - Ensures all site safety certificate requirements are met, posted and filed. - Reviews road testing to ensure that all Drivers comply with the DOT regulations and company policy. This may also include conducting vehicle and trailer inspections. - May conduct periodic terminal safety audits which include facility, drivers, equipment, and vendors. - Plans and promotes safety programs. - Works closely with Field Safety and Compliance staff to promote and provide safety expertise and in the development and presentation of safety training materials. - Performs or assists with accident investigations, as needed. - Handles all aspects of safety and compliance, including Contractor on-boarding, Driver training, Independent Contractor relations, compli...
