North Idaho College is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Natural Sciences Lab Manager to oversee the safe and effective operation of laboratories across Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, and related disciplines. This position plays a vital role in supporting hands-on instruction by coordinating lab preparation, maintaining equipment, managing inventory and supplies, and supervising laboratory staff and student workers. The Lab Manager collaborates closely with faculty to ensure labs are fully prepared, functional, and aligned with instructional needs across the main campus and outreach centers. Serving also as the Natural Sciences Chemical Hygiene Officer, this role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to chemical storage, handling, and disposal. The Lab Manager maintains the Chemical Hygiene Plan, oversees safety inspections, responds to chemical incidents, and helps foster a culture of safety and accountability.
