Salary The salary range for this position is CAD $39.47/Hr. - CAD $49.29/Hr. Summary: Reporting to the Regional Manager, Coding Informatics, Documentation & Data Quality, this key role provides leadership and expert guidance in coding standards, training, and data quality across LM HIM. You’ll support coding teams and HIM leaders, ensure compliance with provincial and national standards, liaise with CIHI and the Ministry of Health, and lead data quality improvement initiatives. You'll also develop training programs, update policies and procedures, and support audit and evaluation processes. Education: - Graduation from an accredited Health Information Management Diploma or Bachelor Program. - Five (5) years of recent, related experience in Coding inpatient and surgical day care records in a tertiary setting, including two (2) years as a data analytics or data quality analyst, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Canadian College of Health Information Management (CHIM) certified and active membership with the Canadian Association of Health Information Management (CHIMA). - Valid BC Driver’s License.
