Assistant/Associate Director of Sponsored Faculty Projects

Kenyon College is conducting a search for a qualified candidate to fill the position Assistant/Associate Director of Sponsored Faculty Projects. (Title will be based on experience and qualifications.) The assistant/associate director will manage the day-to-day functions of the Office for Sponsored Faculty Projects (OSFP). Under the guidance of OSFP Exec Dir, the successful candidate will facilitate the technical aspects of faculty applications/proposals and assist with the submission process for external funding, including individual research, creative endeavors, scholarship, and pedagogy. One of the primary responsibilities is to monitor the daily Federal Register, agency webpages and communiques (NSF, NIH, NEH, NEA, DoE, et al), and the CLASP listserv (Consortium of Liberal Arts Sponsored Programs) for changes in grantmaking/seeking policies and/or government compliance directives, as well as new funding opportunities. The successful candidate will also participate in consulting with faculty members regarding their work and their external support needs.
