Classification Title: Custodial Worker I Classification Minimum Requirements: Completion of ninth grade. Job Description: Responsible for performing cleaning tasks in accordance with established standards and procedures. Areas maintained include but are not limited to lounges, kitchens, stairs, elevators, restrooms, bathrooms, entrance areas Perform cleaning tasks at exterior of buildings as directed. Areas maintained include walkways/breezeways, entrance areas, windows railings, and similar exterior surfaces Perform other duties as assigned, including special cleaning tasks or projects - Perform cleaning tasks including but not limited to dusting, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning restrooms and bathrooms, replenishing supplies, laundry rooms, offices, public areas, cleaning vents, common spaces, high and low dusting cleaning upholstery, recreation rooms, storage areas, and emptying sanitary receptacles - Remove and dispose of interior landfill, recycling, and paper towel collection waste form containers throughout the facilities - Respond to unanticipated cleaning needs as required such as spills, graffiti, and other unanticipated occurrences - Report maintenance, custodial or...
