Location: Geisinger Medical Center (GMC) Shift: Rotation (United States of America) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 0 Worker Type: Regular Exemption Status: Yes Job Summary: The Division of Pediatric Critical Care at Janet Weis Children’s Hospital, Geisinger Medical Center in Danville PA is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Intensivist. The successful candidate will join our staff of Board-Certified Intensivists and physician assistants. Candidates must possess superior clinical and interpersonal skills and a strong desire to participate in program development, research and medical education. Our 14 bed PICU provides a comprehensive range of pediatric critical care services including the care of complex medical patients, pediatric trauma patients and cardiovascular surgery patients. We average 850 admissions to our PICU per year. In addition, pediatric intensivists and hospitalists run a highly successful sedation service performing over 800 sedations per year.
