Archbishop Spalding High School is accepting applications for a Social Studies/AP Macroeconomics Teacher position for the 2026–2027 academic year. The High School Social Studies / AP Macroeconomics Teacher will have a strong desire to teach in a diverse, faith-based, nurturing environment. Candidates must be knowledgeable about current instructional strategies and be skilled at creating lessons with high levels of student engagement for students in grades 9-12. This is a full-time, benefit eligible, 10-month teaching position. Essential Functions: - Plan and implement Daily lessons for students based on school curriculum. - Manage all aspects of the classroom (including but not limited to: instruction, discipline, communication etc.). - Perform assigned teacher duties on a rotating schedule with rest of the faculty. - Attend all faculty meetings and in-services. - Participate in school community events (including but not limited to: graduations, award ceremonies, festivals, and open houses). - Communicate student progress with parents through in person and online systems.
