Description Skills of Central PA is currently hiring for a Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance Department! The position will cover Cumberland County and may assist in York and Adams Counties. A Maintenance Tech will perform and/or schedule routine maintenance service and repairs of properties, equipment, furniture and fleet vehicles. Maintains a safe living environment within residential homes. MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Performs necessary repairs and renovations to sites and equipment, as needed. - Assesses safety of physical environment of each site on a continual basis and addresses concerns in a timely manner. - Completes monthly safety inspections, in consultation with supervisory personnel and eliminates hazardous conditions noted in safety inspection. - Assesses and addresses household and grounds maintenance needs. - Communicates maintenance needs to appropriate personnel and takes required follow-up action. - Advises and ensures routine maintenance for mechanical and site equipment. - Ensures completion of yearly heating and/or air conditioning maintenance and cleaning. - Assists with or schedules the removal of sno...
