Senior Finance Analyst, Lease Accounting

Job description

This position is part of the Sherwin Business Services (SBS) team and plays a key role in accounting for the Company’s Global Property and Equipment leases. Primary responsibilities include performing tasks to ensure the completeness, accuracy and integrity of the Company’s lease population within the global lease accounting system, preparing monthly journal entries in accordance with the lease accounting standard, and executing process improvement initiatives. This position has significant interaction with other functional areas, including the regional accounting teams, Global Accounting & Intercompany COE, Global Controllership, Technical Accounting, Global Transaction Systems, IT, Procurement, system users, etc. This position also works directly with the Company’s lease accounting system vendor and external auditors. This position is not hybrid/remote and will be located at our Global Headquarters in Cleveland, OH.
