Shady Grove Medical Center is hiring a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist for our Pediatric and NICU departments in Rockville, MD. **Qualified candidates will be eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist for our NICU and Pediatric units who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist you will: - Evaluate the appropriateness and effectiveness of the patient’s medications. - Follow the patient’s progress to determine the effects of the patient’s medications on his or her health. - Consult with the patient’s physicians and other health care providers in selecting the medication therapy that best meets the patient’s needs and contributes effectively to the overall therapy goals. - Review and verify physician orders for appropriateness - Participate in Patient care rounds - Counsel and educate patien...
