Telecommunications Technician - Radio Specialist

Job description

Position Overview The Telecommunications Technician will be responsible for the installation, programming, configuration, and ongoing support of Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) systems, with a particular focus on the Motorola MOTOTRBO suite of products. System topologies that are a primary focus include IP Site Connect, Multisite Capacity Plus and Capacity Max networks. The role will ensure high-performance radio communications through the deployment and maintenance of Repeaters, RF Combining Hardware, Antenna systems, Power systems, Subscriber radio terminals, and System applications including infrastructure, enabling reliable and scalable communications across operational sites. Key Responsibilities: System Installation & Commissioning: - Install, configure, and commission Motorola MOTOTRBO Repeaters, Subscriber radios, System and Application servers. System topologies being focused on include IP Site Connect, Multisite Capacity, Capacity max and Trbonet applications. - Create and modify system configuration files including programming of radio terminals and infrastructure using Radio Manager (RM) Customer Programming Software (CPS). - Deploy and align RF equipment, antennas, and cabl...
