Job description

Department: WOUND CARE Status: Per Diem Standard Hours/Week: 10: General Description: The APRN is responsible for promoting and demonstrating Parrish Healthcare’s Culture of Choice®; and is an Allied Health Professional member of Parrish Medical Center’s Medical Staff. The APRN works collaboratively with the supervising physician or designated back-up physicians. The APRN performs physical exams, collects, and documents data, conducts approved diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, orders and schedules laboratory studies and professional consultations, prescribes appropriate interventions and medications, and provides direct patient care services in their assigned unit. The APRN contributes to excellence in patient care, teaching, consulting, and provides leadership to the organization and healthcare professions. The APRN is responsible for ensuring strategic goals and objectives are met or exceeded by providing leadership, direction, and oversight to effectively fulfill our mission to provide Healing Experiences for Everyone all the Time® and achieve organizational strategic (Game Plan) goals.
