Specialty Patient Engagement Specialist Full Time Ohio AndHealth is on a mission to radically improve access and outcomes for the most challenging chronic health conditions, with the goal of making world-class specialty care accessible and affordable to all. We partner with health systems, community health centers, plans, and employers to remove barriers to care to ensure all people have access to the care they deserve. We are looking for Specialty Patient Engagement Specialists to play an important role at AndHealth. This is an onsite position located at our Health Center partner site in Ohio. What you’ll do in the role: - Accurately process prescriptions within the pharmacy operating system, ensure data accuracy, and support daily inventory activities like ordering and storing pharmaceuticals. - Complete comprehensive benefits verification and help enroll patients in copay cards, patient assistance programs, or other secondary coverage to eliminate cost barriers. - Collaborate closely with providers to address formulary restrictions and complete prior authorizations or appeals to ensure specialty medication access. - Consistently communicate with patients to reassess medication u...
