Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - DBP - 50% FTE - ( 26002061 ) Description The UI Stead Family Department of Pediatrics is seeking a 50% FTE APP or PA who will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care team by providing medical and psychological services to children and young adults in the Center for Disabilities and Development. In accordance with scope of practice as outlined by applicable state law, regulations, institutional policies and practice agreements, the position will independently conduct comprehensive medical, psychosocial, and developmental health history, physical assessments, establish medical and psychiatric diagnoses, order and evaluates developmental, behavioral, and diagnostic studies, and develop treatment plans. This position may be eligible for a transition and relocation allowance. Duties to include: Obtains and documents a comprehensive medical, psychosocial, and developmental health history; performs and documents complete, system-focused, or symptom-specific physical examination, assessment, and plan of care.
