Job description

Description The Shipping Clerk is responsible for managing both incoming and outgoing materials in a highly regulated aerospace and defense manufacturing environment. This role ensures all shipments and receipts are accurate, properly documented, and compliant with industry standards and government regulations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in handling-controlled materials with strict traceability requirements for an outgoing individual that will keep track of Shipments and receipt of materials and products. Requirements: Shipping Functions: - Prepare, package, and process outbound shipments in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements. - Generate shipping documentation including packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of conformance, and export paperwork. - Verify outgoing shipments against work orders and customer specifications. - Coordinate with carriers for pickups, including domestic and international shipments. - Ensure compliance with export regulations (e.g., ITAR, EAR).
