ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area - Operate various types of CNC machines to produce parts conforming to print requirements, may include basic program adjustments to meet quality and schedule requirements - Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures - Demonstrate an understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing and basic print reading - Performs basic daily maintenance or checks for machines - Will make more complex program or tooling adjustments to produce conforming parts - Operate a 2 axis lathe and hold .0005 tolerances - Operate a 4th axis mill - Perform First Part Inspections for all lathe and mill operations - Mentor and assist colleagues in set ups or program adjustments - Will make program or set up datasheet adjustments to master files for future use - Other duties as necessary SKILLS and ABILITIES: - Computer skills (MS Office) and experience in ERP systems preferred - Working knowledge of manufacturing principals, basic shop math, and basic blueprint reading - Knowledge of hand tools and general inspection tools - Ability to read and follow work orders, se...
