Description AC-130J Academic/Simulator Contract Instructor (CI) Pilot Part-Time Will provide formal aircrew academic and simulator flight training to officer and enlisted initial qualification, mission qualification, requalification, instructor/AC/WSO upgrade, and key staff students to conduct close air support, air interdiction, and armed reconnaissance. Essential Functions of the Position: - Provide instruction in AC-130J emergency procedures training, systems operation, instrument flight, and tactical operations. - Provide academic and simulator refresher training to qualified AC-130J aircrew members. - Assist in the Instructional Systems Design (ISD) process in designing, developing of and ensuring all AC-130J courseware is correctly applied. - The selected candidate will become a Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) certified instructor. - Perform other duties as directed by the management team. - Other duties as assigned.
