General Function: Under the supervision of the designated supervisor and in harmony with the mission and purpose of the established policies and goals of the YMCA of the Virginia Peninsulas, the Aquatics Director is responsible for developing and implementing programs in aquatics for youth through senior age groups while ensuring a safe aquatic environment. With an emphasis on ensuring the highest quality service to members and guests, the Aquatics Director will work closely with other center leaders in efforts to welcome, connect, support, and engage all members and staff. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. 2. Must have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in pool management and operations and a history of aquatics programming experience. 3.
