Summary: The HVAC Mechanic II performs a wide range of tasks related to the construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems within the facility. In addition to core mechanical responsibilities, this role supports broader physical plant operations, including inspections, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance of building systems and production support equipment. The HVAC Mechanic II demonstrates advanced troubleshooting skills, works independently on moderately complex tasks, and may provide guidance to junior technicians as needed.
