Job Description Performs the essential duties and the primary functions of a physical therapist. Responsibilities include but are not limited to evaluating patients, developing goals and treatment plans, administering physical therapy treatments, documenting treatment, and communicating with physicians and other health care workers. Responsible for promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments. Responsible for solving practical problems, dealing with a variety of instructions in written and oral form. SHIFT AND SCHEDULE: PRN: Day Shift- One weekend per month and one holiday per year ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS: - Administer PT modalities, procedures, and protocols according to department guidelines - Provide accurate, timely, and complete documentation - Support and practice in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and protocols - Assumes responsibility for his/her professional development EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: - Baccalaureate Degree required; Masters or Doctorate Degree preferred from an accredited Physical Therapy program required - Must meet current legal requirements of licensure as a Physical Therapist within the State of T...
