Job description

THE ROLE: Join Downer’s Power Projects team as a Senior Project Manager , where you will lead the delivery of brownfield transmission projects. This includes managing upgrades, augmentations, and live network works. In this role, you will oversee complex site activities, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and ensure that projects are delivered safely, on time, and in accordance with contractual and operational requirements. As this is a national role, we are open to candidates from Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide . You will report to the Project Director and spend time in the office and on-site, collaborating closely with a team of construction managers, project engineers, crew leaders, technical staff, and support personnel to efficiently deliver projects. Some of the key responsibilities include: Lead delivery of brownfield transmission works including upgrades, cut-ins and augmentations. Manage project performance across safety, cost, schedule and quality outcomes. Oversee subcontractors, procurement and resource allocation.
