Job Overview: The Service Planner / Tool Room Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting a fast‑paced service operation by managing the tool room, coordinating parts and tooling needs, and ensuring technicians have what they need to perform their work safely and efficiently. This role serves as a key link between technicians, the warehouse, vendors, and service leadership. Key Job Responsibilities: - Manage day‑to‑day operations of the tool room, including tool check‑in/check‑out, inventory control, and repairs - Administer and maintain tooling and consumables systems, including employee access and equipment locations - Coordinate tooling repairs by dispatching equipment, tracking progress, and communicating status updates - Order and manage parts and tooling for technicians - Track, manage, and expedite backorders to support service schedules and deadlines - Communicate regularly with vendors to source parts, confirm availability, and expedite deliveries...
