Job Type Full-time Description: Summary: Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule. Duties include reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules; conferring with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates; and compiling reports on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and production problems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; others may be assigned: · Improve work methods · Report any safety problems to management · Follow all environmental, health and safety policies · Keep work area clean and orderly · Manage one’s own time efficiently · Evaluate self work to ensure compliance with work instructions and standards · Creating work orders and rework orders for customer shipment demand and non-conforming parts · Interface with manufacturing personnel, the Purchasing Department, Quality Control and Supervisors on material status and production planning issues. · Examine documents, materials, products, and monitor work processes, in order to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and spe...
