Job Description: The Credit Analyst analyzes the long-term financial viability of potential clients by employing sophisticated financial analysis techniques and providing on-going portfolio analysis to monitor current client base. The position also requires the analyst to advance the sales department’s understanding of each prospective client and existing clients' risk profile to increase efficiencies in sales development. Assisting the Account Receivables Dept based on client collections issues and opportunities is expected. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Analyze prospective clients using fundamental financial analysis techniques, including balance sheet, income statement and cash flow measurements as well as industry factors and portfolio concentration issues - Review and make appropriate decisions on business credit applications which meet acceptable underwriting standards and are compliant with company guidelines - Gather necessary documentation, conduct thorough due diligence to determine the suitability of loan requests, and prepare a detailed credit report summarizing the financial analysis, collateral position, and overall risk assessment including a recommen...
