Transportation Business Partner

Job description

The Transportation Business Partner will play a pivotal role in developing, optimizing, and implementing transportation strategies, carrier management processes and solutions within assigned customers segment while driving cost efficiencies and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of transportation systems, carrier management, account management and customer management. YOUR TASKS: - Act as the primary point of contact for all transport management topics for key customers. - Work closely with clients to understand their transportation and supply chain needs. - Support the setup of new transportation services with assigned customers. - Analyze transportation requirements and develop tailored solutions to address customer-specific challenges. - Work with transportation department to design end-to-end multimodal transportation models, including wide ranging from LTL, FTL, high security loads and parcel. - Optimize network designs, route planning, and load consolidation to enhance efficiency. - Build effective and efficient carrier management processes. - Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess carrier performance (e.g., on-ti...
