Clinical Operator- Clerical Mount Kisco, NY: Department: OBGYN: M-F 8:30am-5:30pm: Temp to Perm: Position Overview: Responsible for office administrative functions to include mailroom duties such as sorting and distribution of mail, as well as, local specimen transport. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Sort CMM internal/interoffice mail twice a day and distributes to departmental recipients twice a day - Receive in daily packages from UPS, USPS and FedEx and distribute these packages to the appropriate staff - Organize and maintain office files - Pulls clinical information from fax machine, culls, sorts, and distributes - Rx refills - Medical record requests - Hospital inpatient and ER notes - Maintains a mailbox for all practitioners in the building - Assist clinical department with medical waste disposal management and documentation - Collecting and transporting lab specimens from clinical departments to the lab - Orders office and mail room supplies - Maintains water and coffee supplies for all break rooms in building on a weekly basis - Distribute all patient documents returned from medical records to the appropriate provider - Monitor, maintain and distribute new infor...
