Dock Foreman AJM Packaging Corporation Joplin, MO: Position Overview -: AJM Packaging Corporation, one of America’s leading manufacturers of paper products, including paper plates, cups, bowls and bags, is seeking a Dock Foreman to join our team! This position will provide overall organization and direction of all dock activities and perform tasks related to the orderly and accurate flow of materials being shipped or received. Responsibilities & Duties -: - Check and verify incoming and outgoing loads to ensure accuracy and quality of product and packaging. Note any discrepancies as well as, any damages. - Monitors product flows and movement using various computer software applications. - Consult with production planning team to plan deliveries for the next day. - Teach and implement safe lifting and loading techniques and regularly evaluates employee’s compliance. - Assesses efficiency and performance of distribution activities; identifies and recommends improvements to shift, department, and facility. - Ensures product handling and delivery practices meet customer expectations, and daily, weekly, monthly, and annual business objectives. - Inspect, clean, and lift equipment and su...
